Getting off Staten Island this morning should not be a problem with clear sailing in both directions of the West Shore Expressway and the SIE. The Verrazano also looks to be in good shape, but that's where the fun stops. Because of an accident taking out the right and center lanes of the northbound Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, delays stretch all the way back to the Belt Parkway merge in Bay Ridge. N/B Hutchinson River Pkwy has the RIGHT lane and Shoulder CLOSED due to an Accident with a debris spill from a Tractor Trailer at 6:45AM for approx 4 hrs. 2 mile delay is reported.
