As reported before on VOS IZ NEIAS. The four famous chimneys that have dominated the Queens waterfront for almost a century are on the way down, They’ll be gone from view in about six weeks says CGS developers of the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

They are spending about $100 million putting up more than 400 apartments in the old brick building, and they are looking to buy Schwartz Chemical building next door.
