“We’re gonna post the bill and see what happens,” Senate President Dick Codey told us.

Codey, and even sponsors of same sex marriage legislation are skeptical if there are enough votes to pass in the State Senate.

For days now, Codey has been weighing whether or not to allow a vote in the waning days of this session, which ends next Monday.

“The members for the most part said go ahead and post it,” Codey explained in coming to his decision, while acknowledging there was a minority of his fellow democrats who urged him not to bring it to a vote.

Codey said he will post it for debate and a vote Thursday afternoon.

If it does pass the State Senate, it would go to the Assembly which would also have to debate, and then hold a final vote on Monday, the last day of the session.

Outgoing Governor Jon Corzine has said repeatedly that he would sign it into law if it passes. Incoming Governor Chris Christie, who takes the oath of office January 19th, has said just as many times that he would veto it if it ever gets to his desk.

They should allow the vote and let each member cast a ballot based on their beliefs. It is unlikely to pass but they should have a chance to express their views without all the hysteria of the earlier debate.

Marriage was is and always has been defined between a man and a woman. No matter how hard they’ll try, it won’t change the fact that a union between two men or two woman is not a marriage.

The only reason for their infatuation with trying to change the definition of marriage is due to the fact that they darn well know that what they are doing and that their way of life is not normal and by calling it a marriage they are trying to legitimize it.

It is very important to reach out to the legistlators and the media to explain the devastating effect that the passage of this bill will have on society. The media will portray a typical normal U.S. family as being of the same gender with no children. This will diminish the bonds of all families and will in turn reduce the loyalty of family members to each other and of course when these same gender couples age and become disabled and undesirable they will be abandoned by their partner and wlll become a burden on society. The loyalty the parents have for children and in turn which children have for parents has been a bedrock of all societies and humanity. Changing these norms will destroy the concept of famiy with devastatjng effects

Either redefine marriage to include incest as well, or leave it alone
