The surviving original copy was compiled by Oskar Schindler and his right-hand man Itzhak Stern.
Gary Zimet is selling the document, made famous in Steven Spielberg’s film “Schindler’s List, on his website MomentsInTime.com.
Zimet described it as “a true treasure, and one of the most important World War II manuscripts that has ever been for sale.”
Steven Speilberg should buy it…..
He might well do so. I hope so. He has done more than anybody to tell the world about the holocaust.
More people saw Schindler’s List than all the other holocaust documentaries put together (and doubled!).
Itzchak Stern is Schindler’s sidekick only in the movie. The real name of the persom who did the things ascribed to Stern in the movie was Avraham Bankier.
