    Queens, NY – Police are on the scene in Queens Investigating a fatal accident by a LIRR train.

    The 50-year-old man was on the tracks when the train hit him at Lefferts Blvd and Austin Street.

    EMS pronounced the man dead on the scene, Police from the 102nd Precinct and Chesed Shell Emes are on location.

    first of all bde.
    secondly i hate to disagree he was zoche to die on contact, not have to suffer. true it was a gruesome death but no suffering.

    I was there and spoke with the only eye witness. Man waited for horn and waited then proceeded to jump in front of the train as onlookers where yelling dont do it. Its a very sad story and my prayer go out to his family. R.I.P.

    Nobody really knows anything. I heard 3 different ages and 3 different names. My brother said that there were video cameras, which makes it even worse.
