Jefferson City, MO – In a series of discussions with VIN News, a Muslim Democrat running for Secretary of State of the state of Missouri retracted his position in regard to his 9-11 conspiracy theory and has apologized for stating that no Jews were killed at the World Trade Center on 9-11.

According to a report posted earlier today by VIN News, in the Washington Free Beacon, MD Alam, a Democratic Party caucus chairman vying to become Missouri’s next secretary of state “has speculated about Jewish involvement in the September 11th terrorist attacks and participated in an event with a Muslim cleric who has accused Israel of terrorism and alleged that the U.S. invented the HIV disease.
“Why was 9/11 was a official holiday for all Jewish people worked in the WTC?” Alam asked in an Internet discussion titled, “Was 9/11 a conspiracy??” He continued, “My question was, ‘What’s the reason not a single Jew was killed on that day,’” Alam said, maintaining that his inquiries are based on facts, rather than a bias against Jewish people. “Was there a single Jew killed on that day?”
Alam went on to tout the 9/11 Truther film Loose Change 9/11, and challenged readers to “tell me how many of the Jewish people died on the 9/11 tragedy?”
Asked in an interview Monday about his provocative views, Alam stood by his controversial writings, admitting that he has been “waiting to discuss it with somebody.”
Rabbi Yair Hoffman in phone conversation with MD Alam, click below to listen.
When Rabbi Yair Hoffman reporting for VIN News contacted Mr. Alam, he initially did confirm that indeed, that was his position.
Mr. Alam was then asked by the reporter, “I personally know people that were killed on that tragic day, and can send you information about them. What is your position? Are you saying that these people went into hiding or that his children, his father, and his brother are all lying and, in fact, he is still alive?”
However, after being emailed and seeing evidence that, in fact, Jews were killed in this national tragedy, Mr. Alam offered his apologies and explained that he had been convinced by the material he had read on the internet regarding the issue.
Alam was then put in touch with other people who personally knew other Jewish 9-11 victims.
Alam then expressed some outrage that such misinformation could appear and promised that he would confront those sources. He requested that VIN News convey his sincere apologies to those who have been hurt by his initial claims.
According to the Washington Beacon, Mr. Alam is “an Obama campaign ally and Missouri-based Democratic activist who chairs the National Democratic Party Asian American Caucus (NDPAAC), a Democratic National Committee-sponsored organization that liaises with Asian minorities.
The State Department long ago debunked the insinuation that Jews, forewarned about the attacks, stayed home on September 11. Officials estimate that somewhere between 200 and 400 Jews died in the World Trade Center; five Israeli citizens also perished in the tragedy.”
Mr. Alam confirmed this position again to VIN News on tape as well. In later conversation, Mr. Alam still expressed some conspiracy thinking about the World Trade Center bombings.
ehhh…. still sounds like someone i wouldnt vote for.
scum
who needs him?
But at least he is not the antisemite we thought he was.
No harm done huh?
A new creation – a Muslim Redneck! I sure hope that the voters of Missouri select someone for Secretary of State with a higher IQ and the ability to read and comprehend from sources other than the Internet. Frankly, I doubt his ability to intelligently operate a news stand.
so… he believed moveon.org and other conspiracy sites AND he believed that Jews were behind it all. he believed it enough to say it on more than one occasion – but 1 conversation with Rabbi Hoffman and he discounts his previous views… I doubt his sincerity and I doubt he had a change of opinion. I do believe that he realized votes were going to be lost.
If he would apply for job of store cashier, I wouldn’t hire him. His English is HORRIBLE.
BS
he is lying now
If he looks like a bufoon and he sounds like a bufoon then he is a bufoon……
Well, I know whom I am not voting for – not that I would have voted for him anyway.
If ANY yid in STL, KC, or points in between vote for this scum of the earth, I hereby doubt their Judaism!
I personally know of people in STL whose relative was in the Twin Towers. I know that a brother of a childhood friend of mine was in the Twin Towers. If I had 10 seconds with this dreq face ich bin ’em NISHT m’kaneh!!
Unfortunately, he is like so many Americans who believe anything they see in the media, be it TV, Internet, or indie propaganda films. From Truther to everything causes cancer etc. we are in big trouble.
Typical political wiseguy. He gets some heat from OBAMA and the DNC – next thing you know he apologizes. If he really meant the apology, he would write a letter to all of the jewish victims of Arab terror in the last few decades – from the Lockerbie flight that blew up – to suicide bombs strapped to children targeting innocent people. This guy will never educate himself of his own peoples savage behavior.
I went to his facebook page. His self-label is MD Rabbi Alam..What gives??
“However, after being emailed and seeing evidence that, in fact, Jews were killed in this national tragedy, Mr. Alam offered his apologies and explained that he had been convinced by the material he had read on the internet regarding the issue.”
Hmm isn’t this enough of a reason definitely indicating what a straight-out FOOL he is! I don’t know how many here are aware, this doctrine belief, is shared by all Islamist’s I ever came across! They truly believe their own conspiracy propaganda, (Yep, Joseph Goebbels yms is put to shame how well it works with Muslims) he didn’t even bother checking out the simple facts, prior to stating so in public. ‘Facts’ that every site debunking those conspiracy kooks will easily rebuke.
He will lose his race for the position and then blame Jews. What an idiot. People who use the Internet as a news source need a lobotomy.
What about all the muslim suicide bombers why does he mention his brothers who do so much harm to the world.
It is a shame that most of you are missing the larger problem. This “dreq face” as an earlier poster so aptly called him is representative of the Obamaination supporters. He is a Muslim who is convinced that the only solution to world peace is Muslim domination, shiria law and a “Juden Rein” world. The Obamination is not a friend of Yidden nor of Israel. It is time to vote this person out of office NOW. and if the voters of Missouri are stupid enough to vote Mr. Dreq Face into office then they deserve what they are getting. Beleive me Muslims have no more love of Christians than they do Yidden.
Thanks for the apology but why don’t you look at Pres. Bush’s speeches thanking Mr Zalmanowitz z’l who helped his fellow employee down the stairs, losing his life doing so, There are other references to other people. Do a little homework!!
Hmmm. He is an Obama “campaign ally”.
He is friends with Obama… another “friend’ who has a problematic history or beliefs. Does Obama believe this too?
If obama is president this guy could be president. he would be a great taxi driver
Once again, repeating falsehoods and propaganda. First thing, the Washington Beacon is a conservative opinion outlet and not a source of fact-checked news. Second, Alam’s group is NOT a part of the Democratic Party just because it uses the word Democrat in its title. He is not THE Democratic candidate for Secretary of State but someone who has filed to run in the Democratic primary, which will be in August. His opponent, Jason Kander, is a member of the House of Representatives who has been endorsed by just about every Democratic group and politician in the state of Missouri as you can tell by a simple Internet search. By contrast, MD Alam has been endorsed by the Missouri Right to Life Action Committee and a bunch of made-up groups that have Facebook pages with fewer than 15 likes. Some of you VIN readers are so blinded by hatred of Obama that you are willing to believe absolutely anything without even spending 30 seconds to see if it is true.
are you sure you know what your talking about
the only thing I could find about Alam on the Missouri Right to Life Action Committee’s web page is that he was running for office and that he had No response to their survey.
Sounds to me like the man is caught between the narishkeit he hears from his religious leaders and what he knows deep down is really true.
