The unfinished obituary appeared on Der Spiegel’s website for only a few minutes Sunday before it was spotted by Internet users and removed.

In it, the magazine’s New York correspondent Marc Pitzke describes Bush as “a colorless politician” whose image only improved when it was compared to the later presidency of his son, George W. Bush.

Bush was hospitalized in Houston Nov. 23 for treatment of a bronchitis-related cough. He was moved to intensive care on Dec. 23 after he developed a fever.

A family spokesman says the 88-year-old former president was moved out of intensive care into a regular hospital room again Saturday after his condition improved.

“Bush as “a colorless politician” whose image only improved when it was compared to the later presidency of his son, George W. Bush.”

Ha ha, his son was a 2 term president with approval rating that no one ever had, I think it was like 89%, after 9/11. The economy was doing just fine until the last few months of his Presidency, it could have easily happened under Obama. It was not something he made, he just didn’t foresee it. Of course as soon as the economy went sour coupled with years of the left media knocking him, he pummled in the polls and everything (war in Iraq, etc.) was turned against him, regardless how popular it was just 3 yrs earlier.

Bush 41 was and is a anti-zionist/semite while his son was extremely close to Israel. 41 once said of his son that he’s the first Jewish President, always choosing orthodox people to lead Jewish holiday events and making sure it’s as kosher as possible.

Same thing happened with Alfred Nobel, but he didn’t like the fact that all he was remembered for was for creating dynamite and that led him to invent something positive, so he instituted a Nobel price, hope Bush sr will learn a lesson from it also
