New York – Tornado Watch In Effect

New York – The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for a large portion of New York and New Jersey.

A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for a tornado. The watch is in effect until 5 p.m.

The following counties are in the watch area:

New Jersey counties:

BERGEN, ESSEX, HUDSON, HUNTERDON, MIDDLESEX, MONMOUTH, MORRIS, OCEAN, PASSAIC, SOMERSET, SUSSEX, WARREN

New York counties

BRONX, DELAWARE, DUTCHESS, KINGS, NEW YORK, ORANGE, PUTNAM, QUEENS, RICHMOND, ROCKLAND, SULLIVAN, ULSTER, WESTCHESTER

Pennsylvania counties
