New York – NYC Citizen Uses Personal Drone To Photograph Building Explosion

REUTERS/Mike Segar New York – A New York city resident used his drone to record footage of the wreckage that resulted from a gas explosion that occurred Wednesday morning.

    ABC News (http://abcn.ws/1dRiYAA) reports the drone belongs to Brian Wilson, who uses the drone to record weddings and document buildings. Wilson’s small drone was recording footage of the rubble from two leveled apartment buildings demolished in the blast this morning.

    Authorities asked Wilson to ground the equipment.

    Two people were killed and more than 20 sustained injuries after an explosion occurred in East Harlem around 116th Street and Park at approximately 9:30 a.m.
