“Tel Aviv was under missile fire and people were running into bomb shelters. I don’t think anybody felt physically threatened, but it was not conducive to shooting,” he said.

“Tyrant” stars Adam Rayner as the second son of a dictator in a fictional Mideast country who returns with his family after making a life in America.

FX says the show moved last week and season one’s remaining two episodes will be shot in Turkey.

“Tyrant” is not the only show that has reconsidered filming in Israel.

Last week, “Homeland” showrunner Alex Gansa told writers, “We spent about two weeks seriously considering the possibility of setting the show in Israel this season. And all I can tell you is I’m very happy that we didn’t.”

The show is now shooting in Cape Town, South Africa.

Conflict between Hamas militants and Israel broke out two weeks ago.
