METRONEWS.fr (http://bit.ly/1OgfB7s) reports that Ghozland’s body was found by his brother who went to check on him after he failed to show up at synagogue the previous night.

A source close to the investigation said that while there were no immediate signs of forced entry to Ghozland’s home, it did appear that the home had been ransacked.

“It is too early to know the cause of death,” the source said.

Ghozland’s car, which was typically parked outside his home, was reportedly missing as well, the source added.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.

Ghozland, whose father Henry was one of the founders of the Jewish Cultural Association of Créteil, was highly involved in the Jewish
    community.

“People are upset. They don’t know what to do and have a lot of questions,” a close relative said.

Police reps said a homicide investigation is underway.

We must all understand that this is not just France. It is a sign from Hashem for all of us to be worried. Even though you may think you are safe where you are today, this should not have happened in an open country like France. In a short period of time. Antisemitism can spread fast everywhere (for example, due to a harsh Israeli treatment of Palestinians).

Hashem wants us to do teshuva and daven more. Do more acts of kindness. This will bring our salvation.
