National Harbour, MD – Record For Longest Human Mattress Dominoes Chain Topples (Video)

National Harbour, MD – Aaron’s Inc., an appliance and electronics-leasing company, has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest human mattress domino chain.

Guinness World Records released a video of the feat Thursday, showing 1,200 people holding mattresses behind them and falling backward into each other, one at a time, inside a Prince George’s County, Maryland, warehouse on March 22.

The attempt was aided by a dominoes expert and certified by a Guinness World Record adjudicator. The previous record had been 1,150.

Aaron’s CEO John Robinson pushed over the first mattress. It took 13 minutes and 38 seconds for the final mattress to fall.

The Atlanta-based company says it will be donating all 1,200 mattresses to Washington-area organizations focused on ending poverty and providing shelter to homeless families.

    1. What goyishe kepp! So many in this world are interested in seeing their name in print. I would rather accomplish something useful for humanity, like assist those in poverty to afford pesach, tuitions, hachnosas kallah, etc.

      • So start a campaign to have Yidden stay home on Pesach instead of exposing their children to impure sights going to resorts, If they donate just 10percent of the money they saved by staying home. You would irradicate poverty in the Heimishe Olam in no time.

        • Nice in theory, but what about all the people who are unable to make pesach themselves? What about those who know so little about yiddishkit that are inspired to go to a pesach program? What about those that need to run the programs for those people?
Then dont forget about those that make their parnossa from running these programs; the hotel owners, caterers, organizers etc.
I am no so sure that staying home is always cheaper anyway. Plus, those who do go away, often are the ones who are hugely supporting and backing the maos chittim campaigns already.
