Rav Rosenblum was renowned for having an open door for anyone with a problem, he would listen attentively to every detail and give advice. Yeshiva students and kollel yungerleit considered him one of the wisest advisors in professional matters and he guided vast numbers of rebbeim. As a guide and instructor to charitable organizations he oversaw millions of dollars in funding for the needy and indigent. His encouragement helped many bnei Torah, and his smile and warmth were legendary.

To have the record straight Rav Rosenblum was a Talmud of Rav Aharon Kotler.
Rav Aharon ones said “Who has talmidim like ours?” and he began listing off his best talmidim. “The first name he mentioned was Rav Yosef Rosenblum.

Not only was Horav Yosef Rosenblum ZT”L a genius in Torah knowledge, but his sensitivity in matters of daily life was exemplary. He was one of those capable of giving advice in so many areas of life, and he did so graciously. he was aware of the extent of his insight and experience, and deferred to experts in other fields readily, supporting them and encouraging them. Replacing Horav Rosenblum will be difficult, and his loss will be felt by so many. May HKB”H comfort and console us in this loss for Klal Yisroel.
