Miami Beach, FL – Police are looking for a man suspected of shooting two people outside the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach.

The shooting happened about 9 p.m. Sunday on a ramp that runs between the hotel’s main building and the Tresor Tower. Miami Beach Police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez said in a news release that the victims ran inside the hotel for help.

Rodriguez says a woman had one bullet wound and is in stable condition. The man was shot multiple times and was in critical condition at a Miami hospital.

Investigators say the shooter ran from the scene.

The upscale hotel’s lobby was roped off and guests weren’t allowed inside through the main entrance. Roads around the hotel also were briefly closed.

    1. Miami Beach has turned into a jungle; it was only two years ago, that a Chassidic Rabbi from Brooklyn, was shot dead by a 14 year old Black, who bragged about the shooting. Who do you think got him off on a technicality, regarding the DNA evidence? You guessed it- a Jewish lawyer. All charges were dismissed!

      • Rabbi Raskin a”h was shot in North Miami Beach which despite the similarity in the names is nowhere near Miami Beach (the two cities are 35 minutes apart by car).

Charges were dropped against Deandre Charles who was accused of murdering Rabbi Raskin because there was no evidence that Charles was in the area at the time of the murder.

There were no witnesses to the crime. However, there were witnesses who testified that Charles was at home at the time of the crime and nowhere near the crime scene.

Miami Beach is a very upscale resort city with a beautiful Jewish community.
