Jerusalem – West Bank Terror: A Killer’s Last Testament On Facebook

The terrorist arrested at the scene of the attackJerusalem – Less than two hours prior to the terror attack that claimed the lives of three Israeli citizens and seriously wounded one more, 19-year- old Omar al Abed from the West Bank village of Khobar wrote what he presumed would be his final words on Facebook.

With these final sentences, and expecting to die, he walked the short distance from his village to the West Bank settlement of Halamish and stabbed four people in their home.

“I am writing my last testament and these are my last words,” wrote al Abed.

“I am young, not even twenty-years old, I had many dreams and many aspirations. But what life is this in which our women and our young are murdered without any justification? They are desecrating the al-Aksa mosque and we are sleeping, it’s an embarrassment that we are idly sitting by.

“You, those who have a gun and who are worn out, you who only bring out your gun at weddings and celebrations, are you not ashamed of yourselves? Why are you not declaring war for God? Here they are closing the al-Aksa mosque and your gun is silent.

“All that I have is a sharpened knife, and it is answering the call of al-Aksa. Shame on you, you who preach hatred. God will take revenge on you and will make it count. All of us are the sons of Palestine and the sons of al-Aksa. You, sons of monkeys and pigs, if you do not open the gates of al-Aksa, I am sure that men will follow me and will hit you with an iron fist, I am warning you.”

Three of the victims died as a result of their wounds, and one was evacuated to Shaare Tzedek hospital. The assailant, Omar al Abed, was neutralized by the victims’ neighbor.

A still photo of the scene of the attack shared by Israeli television showed a kitchen floor completely red with blood. The family had sat down to a traditional Friday evening meal when the attack occurred, according to Israel Radio.

    1. It’s the three weeks of mourning churban Bayis, so when I read what this kid wrote, I imagine what would be if Yidden had the same kanaoos for Har HaBayis as Yishmael. Pinchas had kanaoos of kedusha. We sit back and let Yishmael have kanaoos so they can play soccer and have picnics on Har HaBayis.

      • You’re filthy disgusting and vile for ppstimg what you did!!!!!!!!! How dare you judge the am hakadosh by the actions of this subhuman vermin scum???? Go move in with him, perhaps YOU can learn from him. While u do that, i will cry for the three yidden that were niftar al kiddush hashem. You piece of dirty laundry!!! Youre a recycled dirty diaper!!!!!!

          • It’s really quite simple. The subway Vermin is talking about murdering Jews, while the recycled dirty diaper is comparing that zealousness to the love of God. Not quite sure what is difficult for you to get.

            • It’s a very simple concept and one that has its roots firmly planted in chazal. The nations of the world can only succeed over klal Yisroel in the areas in which we are weak. If we see the murderous filth gain the upper hand by methods of mesiras nefesh perhaps its time to reinforce our dedication to Mitzvos. You can disagree with the lesson taken, but no reason to fly off the handle here.

            • I am so sorry, i wasnt aware that Rav Yeruchom Levovitz was resurrected and goes by the name yasmar. My sincerest apologies!!! But I do stand by my assertion that you should move into his neighborhood and learn from him. Perhaps you can then come back and teach us all. Happy Tisha Be’av!!!

            • Poor comeback my friend. I never asked you to admit that you simply didn’t understand the original comment and that your response was a knee jerk reaction to a perceived anti Israel comment. It is also amazing how you suddenly invoke Tisha B’av in your comment after you shame, name call and rant against a person posting a innocent and benign post. Get help.

            • Reb Yeruchem, sadly your comment was not that difficult to understand. lt lacked both, profoundness, and depth of intellect. I understood it. You didn’t understand what you wrote.

            • Again a cheap shot. I was just repeating what the original comment said and that you attacked with vitriolic hatred for no reason. You can disagree with the lesson he took away from this terrible incident, but to go off on him like that is much more a statement About you than it is about his comment. You probably are a nice person but you should deal with all that pent up rage. It’s not helping you.

    2. NO words can describe this horrific tragedy. Israel is just sadly asking for it while scuffling with their holiest site. Its too bad were in Galus &we; shld get the heck out of there totally.
