“I’m now 85,” Ginsburg said, according to CNN. “My senior colleague, Justice John Paul Stevens, he stepped down when he was 90, so think I have about at least five more years.”

Ginsburg made the statement on Sunday night New York during a discussion following a production of “The Originalist,” a play about the late Justice Antonin Scalia.

When asked in October an event sponsored by Equal Justice Works in Arlington, Virginia, if she was contemplating retirement, Ginsburg said, “as long as I can do the job full steam, I will do it,” CNN reported.

Ginsburg, who is marking her 25th anniversary on the Supreme Court this year, has hired law clerks for the next two terms, taking her at least through 2020.

Asked Sunday night by “The Originalist” Director Molly Smith what keeps her “hopeful,” Ginsburg quoted her late husband, Marty.

“My dear spouse would say that the true symbol of the United States is not the bald eagle — it is the pendulum. And when it goes very far in one direction you can count on its swinging back,” she said.

Ginsburg has survived both colon and pancreatic cancer while serving on the court.

I can’t stand Ruth Bader Ginsburg; she called Trump a “faker”; yet, she is the biggest phony regarding Jewish causes. She voted against Jonathon Pollard, when his case came to the D.C. Court of Appeals. If it wasn’t for her vote against Pollard, he would have been freed decades ago!

To #10 -The government and those momzarim, Judge Audrey Robinson, and Caspar Weinberger double crossed Pollard in 1987, and Clinton, double crossed him in 2000, when he promised Netnayahu, that he would commute his sentence. The government even tried to renege on releasing Pollard in 2015, when it tried to change his release date in 2015. At the last minute, it concocted a scheme to have him electronically monitored for five years, and placed under house arrest for 12 hours per day, and to have his computer and phone monitored. Even his parole officers stated that in over twenty years, they never saw a non-violent parolee treated in such a shabby manner. Pollard still has to serve until November, 2020, under such despicable parole conditions. If it wasn’t for the small pension that his wife receives, and donations from well wishers, he would be up the creek. I forgot to mention that he is confined to a small area in Manhattan, and has to walk up to his small apartment five flights, since there is no elevator. He is 64 years old, and not in the best of health. The government has been extremely vindictive towards him, and his first wife. A shanda!!

I hope she has many productive years ahead of her. She is a real role model for us older people.

If Trump could pick her replacement the SC will remain conservative for the next 4 decades.
