New York – Tamika Mallory Fails To Condemn Farrakhan’s Anti-Semitism In Testy Exchange With Meghan McCain On ‘The View’

    23

Tamika Mallory is an American activist who currently serves as co-president of the 2019 Women's March.New York – In a tense exchange on “The View,” co-host Meghan McCain confronted Tamika Mallory about her support of Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader known for his history of virulent anti-Semitic comments.

Mallory’s response is sure to add fuel to accusations that she is too soft on Farrakhan and has not sufficiently condemned anti-Semitism.

“I don’t agree with many of Minister Farrakhan’s statements,” Mallory said in the exchange.

“Specifically about Jewish people?” McCain asked.

“As I said, I don’t agree with many of Minister Farrakhan’s statements,” Mallory responded.

“Do you condemn them?” McCain asked.

“I don’t agree with these statements …” Mallory said.

“You won’t condemn it,” McCain interjected.

“No, no, to be very clear, it’s not my language, it’s not the way that I speak,” Mallory responded.

Co-host Sunny Hostin had previously asked Mallory about her labeling of Farrakhan as the GOAT, an acronym for the “greatest of all time,” in a Facebook post from 2017.

“I didn’t call him the greatest of all time because of his rhetoric, I called him the greatest of all time because of what he’s done in black communities,” she said to audience applause.

McCain then brought up a recent Tablet magazine article alleging that Mallory and Women’s March co-founder Carmen Perez made anti-Semitic comments at an early Women’s March meeting. Another Women’s March co-founder, Bob Bland, said the sources referenced in the Tablet article “did not tell the truth.”

Bland went further, saying the Women’s March unequivocally condemns anti-Semitism. When McCain asked if she specifically condemns Farrakhan’s remarks about Jews, she said yes — something Mallory failed to do at any point in the interview.

      • Writing “the blacks” are, do, think, hope, try, want, etc is as stupid as Trumpty Dumpty KKK fans who make blanket statements about “the Jews”.

Professing a universal attribute to any group is stereotyping, no different than the fine people on the racist side of Charlottesville why speak of “the Jews” all having money, “the Jews ” are all liberal, etc.

It is the starting line in the marathon of racism Trumpty Dumpty and his ilk wish to unleash and eventually harness in their quest for power. Divide and conquer. Mark one part of society as THEM, convince everyone else they are US, paint THEM as stealing everything THEY have from US, convince US that WE have to eradicate THEM or THEIR children will eradicate OURS.

History repeats itself, repeatedly. Educated people understand this. Willfully unE.D.ucated Archies never have and many never will.

        • What do educated people understand? You mean that calling labeleing a group of people as deplorables are not racism or stereotyping? What about your comments against frum jews every time a few chasdim in BP harass a ticketer or tow truck employee? Or when a frum jew gets caught stealing? Then its not sterotyping?

You democrates don’t want to unleash and harness power? you don’t want the eltsists and minorties to rule over white uneducated hicks??

(The only history repeating itself now is muslims becoming the new threat to dominate the world. They are the new nazis. And you guys in your PC nonsense will never sterotype muslims thereby letting them kill us. Yes muslims are one group that i am proud to sterotype and hate)

Yup history repeats itself and you democartes are the same hyporcites. i will continue to point out every racist/ stereotype comment you liar/ hypocrite writes.

    1. Black anti-semitism has been a problem for many years; Blacks are very jealous of the economic and political clout that American Jews enjoy. In addition, they use the Jews as an excuse for demanding reparations for slavery. In other words, they state that if the Jews have received reparations from Germany, then they should receive reparations for slavery. Last, it is very difficult for one Black to publicly condemn another Black. For example, the Black prosecutor who prosecuted Orenthal J. Simpson (OJ), was publicly and privately threatened and castigated, and called the most vile names (Uncle Tom, race traitor, etc.). Hence, one is spinning one’s wheels, tantamount to climbing Niagara Falls, if they think that they will get this individual to publicly condemn that piece of garbage Louis Farrakhan, y’mach shimo levracha.
