The two day campaign kicks off on September 17th, with all donations received from now through the end of the campaign to be quadrupled by Amudim’s generous matchers. The Pillar To Pillar fundraiser will feature an exciting Tuesday night livestream hosted by Nachum Segal addressing the unprecedented crises facing the Jewish community and the ongoing efforts to help those in need. The live program will feature several personal testimonials as well as lecturer Charlie Harary, prominent rabbonim and mental health professionals, community leaders, musical guests stars Yoni Z. and Eli Schwebel and other surprise guests. The livestream will begin at 6:30 PM at The Atrium by Bond Collective at 14 Park Street in Brooklyn, with an incredible buffet by Judd’s Memphis Kitchen.

The fundraising will continue on September 18th with a 7 PM event at the home of Moishe and Arielle Wolfson, 501 Cedar Hill Road in Far Rockaway, as the campaign winds down into its final hours. Amudim director Zvi Gluck noted that while significant strides have been made in the past five years, there is still so much more that needs to be done.

“Week after week, we see our call volume rising and the number of new cases opened continues to rise,” said Gluck. “Far from being disheartened, we are grateful for the opportunity to be able to help an even greater number of people, but we can’t do it alone. We ask everyone to give whatever they can to help us so that we can continue providing pillar to pillar support to those who reach out to us for help.”

Amudim’s iconic pillars are more than just symbolic.

Having fielded more than 166,000 calls and opened over 6,000 cases in its American office alone over the last five years, Amudim’s awareness events, PSA videos and Narcan trainings have saved countless lives and prompted many to seek treatment that has put them on the path to good health.

From pillar to pillar, Amudim has been raising awareness, providing resources and supporting those in crisis, all the while changing lives and building futures.
