Queens, NY – An elderly man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Queens Saturday night.

The accident occured on Jewel Avenue and 140 Street in Queens, at approximately 9:00 PM.
Queens Hatzolah responded to the scene and transported the victim to Booth hospital. They did everything they could to save his life, but ultimately he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was 75 years old.
The victim’s name wasn’t immediately available.
The streets where the accident occured are expected to be closed for hours.
