    • If this was a facetious response based on your lack of knowledge of Brooklyn, please be advised that the Brooklyn Jewish Center, which used to be a Conservative temple, was taken over years ago by Chabad. If it wasn’t facetious, then it was totally off-base.

        • The Park Slope Jewish Center originally was a orthodox shul. It became conservative over 20 years ago but tolerated an orthodox minyon in the basement for a while. They have had a female clergyperson for at least 15 years who is a lesbian. She hid her sexual orientation at the time of her ordination because at that time the conservative movement hadn’t yet approved of “gay”clergy.
Perhaps the fire was a hate crime based on the clergymember;s sexual orientation

      • DOES NOT MATTER! BOTH MEAT AND MILK WERE IN THE BUILDING, SO THIS ATTEMPTED ARSON WAS NOT ALLOWED ACCORDING TO THE TORAH! OH WAIT, ARSON WASN’T ALLOWED IN THE FIRST PLACE! ALL THE MORE REASON TO BELIEVE THAT HIS COMMENT WAS INNOCENT AS HELL! PUPPIES ARE NOT KOSHER EITHER, DOES THAT MEAN THEY ARE BAD? NO, IT MEANS THEY ARE NOT FOOD! IT FOLLOWS THAT MILK AND MEAT ARE FOODS WHEN SEPARATE, BUT NOT WHEN TOGETHER. THERE IS A DEEPER LESSON TO BE LEARNED FROM THIS!
