MANCHESTER, UK (VosIzNeias) – The former head of the Manchester Beth Din has said members of the strictly Orthodox community should rather “give up one’s life” than comply with the government’s demands on religious and sex education, it was reported in the Jewish Chronicle.

Dayan Gavriel Krausz called on the community to be as “firm as a rock” in opposing the new policies, due to come into effect in September 2020, which he termed “the terrible decree”.
The bill, which was approved by a huge majority of MPs, ruled that students should be taught about same-sex relations before they complete secondary school.
Krausz said that schools should be closed, rather than comply with the new law.
“One is not allowed to give in one iota,” he stated. “If we capitulate and give in, we can chas vashalom [“Heaven forbid”] say goodbye to the next generation.”
The UK’s schools regulatory body, Ofsted, ruled a few days ago that a strictly Orthodox high school – Beis Yaakov – in Salford near Manchester, must teach pupils about same-sex relationships.
This is an agenda driven by liberals and if we don’t vote Republican it will be the same in the USA. Schools will also need to provide gender natural bathrooms. And if a rebbe or teacher is Gay it will be illegal to fire them. is this what we want from our schools? Phineas aka nachum has no problem with this but most of us do.
The liberal’s agenda is to teach the new Three Rs. R-evolution (against Hshem) Religion and culture (e.g. black history month) Rights especially gay, animal and the women’s Right to choose. sick, sick, sick.
They have the education, already ask any chasidisher boy what goes on in the toilets, the bunkhouses in camp, or the storage rooms.

Seems to me turning away the young people who most need moral instruction is foolish.
