Two of the defendants in the trial around the death of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Deitsch in 2017 were minors when they committed their crimes, according to the prosecutor’s office of the Zhytomyr region. Of the four defendants, two are women, the office said in a statement Friday.
Deitsch, a Chabad rabbi who was in Ukraine for Rosh Hashanah, was assaulted in October 2016, suffering blows that put him in a coma and eventually caused his death. Deitch was 63 when he died.
The adults, aged 43 and 24, received 11 and nine years in jail respectively for robbery and causing severe bodily harm, but were neither charged nor convicted of murder of manslaughter. The remaining defendants were sentenced to seven years each.
They assaulted Deitsch, who was a Chabad rabbi and was recognizably Jewish from his attire, near the Zhytomyr’s train station at about 11 p.m. and stole from him a cellular phone worth about $600 and another $60 in cash, the statement said.
The reason they didn’t charge these vermons for manslaughter is because the Ukrainians are the nation who rejected G-Ds offer to get the Torah, for the reason that they any abide by the commandment of לא תרצח. If u are a student of history u should know They are the most vicious bloodthirsty murderers ,
