Archy, so much for your call for unity behind Barr’s gun violence ideas. The NRA just made Trump disavow it. Pulled Trump’s puppet strings hard.

White House distances itself from AG Barr’s gun control ideas as NRA pans it.

This sort of garbage does not go on in any schools in Israel, as every school in Israel has very good security. Here, every school district in the USA makes a decision whether or not to have metal detectors and/or armed guards at the schools. If we can protect the public at the airport, where we are frisked, and scanned, why can’t we protect our kids? Even if I go to a major league ball game, or to an indoor sports event, at a sports arena, I am subject to screening. It is ludicrous to permit thousands of students to come in with back packs and other objects which are not screened. How many more of these school shootings are going to be tolerated by school officials? In NYC, there are schools with metal detectors and guards. The USA was able to send 12 men to the moon, and bring them back safely to earth; one would think that better security would be utilized in our schools. Unfortunately, the same mentality which resisted placing armed law enforcement personnel in Shuls, is still prevalent at many local school boards.
