AIRMONT (VINnews) — The FBI paid a visit to Airmont, NY Tuesday morning. Speculation ran wild that the operation was in connection with the Monsey stabbing attack.

It has now been revealed that this was completely unrelated to the stabbing, but rather shockingly it was in connection to a series of recent bank robberies perpetrated by an Airmont resident.

The FBI has arrested Yosef Ziegler, on suspicion of robbing $32,000 from an Oritani Bank branch on Kinderkamack Road in Park Ridge this past April. Yosef allegedly threatened the bank that he had a bomb in his bag.

4 months before that, Yosef is accused to have held up a Chase Bank branch in the Pacesetter Shopping Center on Route 202 in Pomona. In that case as well, Yosef allegedly held a box which he claimed to contain explosives.

There was a $10,000 reward offered for Yosef’s capture, but it is unclear at this time if that contributed toYosef’s arrest.

The feds plan to make a formal announcement Tuesday afternoon to announce Yosef’s arrest, and to reveal other locations Yosef is accused of having robbed.

OMG. This guy is going to be sent away for a long time. Two stories of stealing and one possibly of assault with the intention of murder out of Ramapo in one week. What’s next?

ercsd No Way! If he has no prior record and was non-violent (other than the “bomb” claims of course). He will plea to a sentence of 1-3 years and be you in 18 months tops on good behavior.

Its because of long shaitels.
Its because the Shidduch Crisis.
And on and on and on…..

To don’t blame others: I’m by far a chosid or “Yeshivish” type but what you make light of such as long shaitlich, talking in shul etc (I don’t know what the so called shidduch crisis have to do with it) are at best not bringing moshiach faster and shows your ignorance of our spiritual plight in this terrible times of sickness untimely deaths incarcerations etc

Please explain. The only thing he did is lying. The President of the USA does that same 3 times a day. Maybe he was joking. Didnt the POTUS used that a few times. I hope he gets away free.

The liberal democratic local governments are at fault. They raise our taxes WHAT CAN NORMAL CITIZENS DO. These liberals take away rights all over the place. Even if someone wants to rob a bank they can’t get a gun with the gun control laws. They need to use a box. To fill up bags with money only paper bags can be used. No plastic bags. Meshugah oif toyte
