NEW YORK (VINnews) — Grafton Thomas, the man who stands accused of attacking Jews attending a Chanukah party in Monsey last Saturday night, was no stranger to Orthodox Jews and even served as a Shabbos Goy for his Jewish friends while growing up, according to a statement by his mother, Kim Thomas.

Thomas said that her son was born in Crown Heights and allegedly used to perform tasks for his Jewish neighbours every Shabbat. She added that her son was always warmly welcomed when returning to Brooklyn from their home in Greenwood Lake.
“If he goes down there, anyone that sees him on the block, in the neighborhood, hugs him, welcomes him,” she said.
However Thomas’s account was disputed by veteran residents of Crown Heights, who said they had no recollection of her son living there.
Kim Thomas also disputed claims made by federal authorities that a swastika and references to Adolf Hitler and Nazi culture found in her son’s journals were evidence of “anti-Semitic sentiments.” Thomas also made searches on his computer regarding “why did Hitler hate the Jews” and the authorities are treating his action as a hate crime.
Yet his mother claimed that his writings are a symptom of his mental illnesses, which his lawyers have said include schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Kim said that when she met her son in the Orange County Jail where he is being held, Thomas exhibited symptoms of his mental problems.
“I said, ‘Mommy loves you, I am going to try to do everything to help,’ and he said, ‘We thank you.’ I said, ‘Who’s we?’ ” Kim said. “To this day he has not received medical attention.”
She is a pathetic liar and should be charged as an accomplice. She said the the bleach in the car was because he had a germ phobia and washes his hands with bleach. Her car was used when he stabbed the other man ( Shlesinger) a few weeks ago and she gave it in to a body shop. He ain’t no lover of Jews he is an outright Black Hebrew Israelite Antisemite who twice went out to kill Jews.
Not only is his mother spewing garbage and lies but she should be arrested for being an accomplice to the crime, He used her vehicle to commit the first attack and don’t tell she didn’t know about it.
Approximately 25 years ago, I was walking home from Shul when I was approached by 2 teenagers who threatened to kill me if I didn’t hand over all the money I had. They were my neighbors at 702 Crown st, the house that this monster grew up in. He looks familiar and he may be one of the muggers from back then.

Not mentioned in this story is that his mother is a registered nurse. Why did he not receive treatment, if he is mentally ill? No treatment whatsoever? Hard to believe that.

Grafton Thomas, according to his Mother, was an absolute angel. According to the law, if someone is found to be sane, (in spite of mental problems), they are still legally responsible for perpetrating the crime. If they are found insane, they can still be sentenced to an institution for the criminally insane.
For example, in 1949, in Camden, N.J., there was a disturbed, unemployed individual, (similar to Grafton Thomas), who lived at home with his Mother; his name was Howard Unruh, (age 28),. One day, he took his German Luger, and within 20 minutes killed 13 people, including his Jewish neighbor, whom he hated, pedestrians on the street, shopkeepers, children, and others. He should have been executed, since New Jersey enforced the use of the death penalty at that time. A team of psychiatrists examined him for weeks, and couldn’t agree on a diagnosis, since he was the USA’s first mass murderer. Eventually, they diagnosed him as a schizophrenic, although today, he probably would have been qualified to stand trial. Unruh served 60 years in an institution for the criminally insane, until he died, in 2009.
