Suspect In Custody After Robbing Boro Park AT&T Store [VIDEO]

BORO PARK (VINnews) — A man has been arrested after robbing an AT&T store in Boro Park.

The AT&T store, which is a recently opened authorized seller, is located on 13th avenue and 46th Street in Boro Park.

Video footage obtained by VINnews shows 2 staff members assisting customers at 2 separate desks, while a man is seen browsing merchandise near the door. Suddenly, the man near the door grabs ahold of some items and flees the premises.

An alarm immediately sounds, and the 2 staff members start pursuing him.

The man was subsequently taken into custody by the NYPD, assisted by Boro Park Shomrim.

According to reports, the man had stolen an an iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. The devices were recovered, but the iPhone XS Max was reportedly cracked.
