TELZSTONE (VINnews) — With eight known cases of corona virus and more than 1000 people (close to a third of the population) in isolation after having contact with infected persons, Telzstone is turning out to be a nightmare for health ministry officials attempting to curb the contagious virus.

The infected persons include an entire family of seven; parents and their five children, after the father’s sister came to visit them recently. She herself had been infected by a relative who came from France before the government declared forced isolation for Israelis returning from abroad.
The father’s condition worsened but fortunately after a few hours he stabilized. However before the family’s condition was diagnosed, they attended a Purim meal with several other families, all of whom are now in isolation. At least one woman was infected and she gave birth in Hadassah without her husband and family on hand to a baby who was immediately taken to isolation.
Another husband and wife who were at the meal show symptoms of fever and cough. Magen David Adom personnel have taken several dozen samples over the past two days and are now awaiting results.
A Magen David Adom worker who came to visit for Shabbat Zachor also turned out to be a carrier who may have affected some of the local population.
