Watch: Israel’s Acute Shortage Of Eggs Causes Dangerous Crowding When They Arrive

9

BEIT SHEMESH (VINnews) — Israel has been suffering from a nationwide shortage of eggs due to people overbuying in previous weeks. The shortage coupled with the need to maintain social distancing has meant that people waited for hours in long lines to buy eggs. The Israeli government announced that large shipments will arrive before Pesach but as the following clip taken in Beit Shemesh shows, when eggs do finally arrive, dangerous crowding can occur, which could have dire consequences, especially as most of the people were not wearing face masks which are obligatory in Israel.

Police were alerted to the unusual crowding and dispersed the gathering. They also fined the truck driver 5000 NIS for causing the crowding.

And then you wonder why the infection rate among the Haredim is so high..look at the video…incredibly stupid people.

Stay away from each other!

They crowd together to go to funerals. They crowd together to get eggs.

incredibly stupid people.

Stupid people they just don’t care – For a few dozen eggs they would gamble lives. Are we so spoiled???
Keeping shuls open by claiming we must daven with minyan, we must say Yehi Shemei Rabba etc. seems like we are willing and ready to gamble dying of the coronus virus because of mesiris nefesh for hashem. Here for a few eggs we see it is all based on arrogance “do not tell me what I should do”.
Charedi Jews have a real problem and it is not anit semitism nor hatred for the Charedim.
