COLUMBUS, OHIO (VINnews) — The coronavirus has hit hard both economically and physically and has not spared any community. However during a protest Saturday in Columbus,Ohio against health restrictions instituted by the state, an anti-Semitic sign was displayed depicting Jews as demonic blue beings and using a crudely anti-Semitic picture of a Jew reminiscent of Nazi propaganda. A caption underneath the sign blamed Jews for the coronavirus pandemic.

Journalist Laura Hancock snapped the blue sign and shared it on social media. Hancock noted that mounted policemen were monitoring the demonstration but took no action against the racially motivated anti-Semitic poster.

Protesters in Columbus Ohio marched outside the statehouse to voice their objection to the decision of state governor Mike DeWine to close schools on Saturday and force non-essential services to close down in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Several other US protests were reported as citizens expressed anger over the forced stay-at-home policy and claimed they should make their own decisions and not the government.
US President Donald Trump who has not hidden his sympathy for the protesters, called in a tweet to “liberate Virginia” and hinted that the stay-at-home orders are unconstitutional.

What does one expect from the rednecks, and white trash, who live in the Columbus, Ohio area? If they are not displaying those kinds of disgusting flags, then (when Shuls are open), they are harassing frum pedestrians walking to and from Shul, on Shabbos on E. Broad St., in the Eastmoor section of Columbus, as well as in the Bexley suburb of Columbus.
Regarding the local Columbus, Ohio police, years ago, one of their own (a police woman woman and her sister) posted a nasty anti-semitic video on U-tube, stating that “Jews are the problem”. In the video, they blasted the Torah. When the video was brought to the attention of the local Fraternal Order of Police (the equivalent of the PBA), their idiotic response was that “she was just exercising her first amendment rights”. Finally, she was forced to resign. It should be noted that for nearly twenty years, the local B’nai Brith lodge in Columbus used to have a program called “Feed the Police”, whereby food was brought to all of the various police agencies in the Columbus area, during the gentile holidays, and volunteers would ride along with the cops, and keep them company, to show their appreciation. The Columbus Division of Police, was a recipient of such kindness. Yet, it came as a great surprise that years later, not only was that video posted online by an active duty cop, but her supervisors, were very slow at doing anything about it.
