NEW YORK, NY – Using IBM’s Watson to track antisemitism-related activity on Twitter following the mayor’s singling out of “the Jewish community,” Former Assemblyman Dov Hikind’s  data analyst Mordy Rubin discovered astounding data that makes clear as day the magnitude of damage caused to the Jewish people by the mayor’s careless tweet.

HAVE A LOOK AT THE TIMELINE:

On 4/28 Mayor De Blasio singled out “the Jewish Community” in an angry tweet about social-distancing violators:

His tweet generated a firestorm of activity, more than approx. 100x what his individual tweet engagement avg. is (300-400 likes/retweets/comments per post) and nearly 20x his entire daily avg:
At the same time that his engagement spiked around that tweet, one particular keyword spiked on Twitter along with “Jewish” – that term is “Hitler”
If there’s any doubt the two are related, here’s a sampling of some of the vicious antisemitic commentary that followed, both on his original tweet and on related stories:
But the consequences weren’t felt only online and in words. The very next day there was an attack on Hasidic Jews in Williamsburg:
And apparently the rules don’t apply to the mayor himself:
Furthermore, the mayor insisted that enforcement of social distancing guidelines were being enforced equally across the city.

Does this look like equal enforcement (pics from Saturday)?

Not only is there no enforcement in the parks where New Yorkers are gathering in large numbers and without masks, but rather than handing out summonses to maskless individuals as they did aggressively in Williamsburg and Boro Park the NYPD and Parks Dept. handed out masks instead!

Williamsburg:

Rest of city:
In 2019 when violent antisemitism reached a fever pitch across Brooklyn, the mayor insisted he didn’t have enough police to beef up presence and security in Jewish neighborhoods.

In 2020, he seems to have suddenly found the extra police needed, but this time to act punitively against the Jewish community.

At present, the time for sincere apologies has passed. The mayor must take full responsibility for his actions and take concrete steps to quash antisemitism when and where it arises. And, we’re still waiting to see “equal enforcement” ALL OVER New York City, and not just visibly Jewish neighborhoods where it’s easier to lump individuals into a group to point fingers at!

Aside from venting, what can we do?
Is there a federal or State agency that can pursue this in a serious manner?

There is no proof that his comment caused this antisemitism. It could be the funeral itself caused it which the media publicized anyway.

Nothing will happen, since both satmers (that receive millions from the City and all kind of favors from the mayor) gave out letters endorsing the mayor’s actions.

Hikind is so biased he can’t see the major flaw in his argument. The anti-Semitic spike is more likely due to the coverage of the funeral itself. Hikind hasn’t proven anything. However he has proven himself to be a loyal Trump supporter and has proven his willingness to throw accusations of antisemitism at those on the left.

The Mayor Is not an Anti-Semite, Just a Moron with a Loose Mouth, That does not have a Clue how to run and Manage the Largest city, in Population, and Financially.
Let him first Fix His Hospital Health care System.
The Hospitals in NYC can be compared to the Death Camps of Europe During WWII.
50% of Patients in the NYC Hospitals died of Neglect, from Malnutrition, no oxygen, Nurses NOT MONITORING the Patients Oxygen Ventilators, etc etc..
SHAME ON YOU MAYOR

Can anyone explain the following? The frum community loves Trump. However, when was the last time Trump was in Crown Heighs, Boro Park, or Williamsburg? NEVER! AG Barr was in Boro Park, but not Trump. Even Sen. Cruz was in Crown Heights in 2016, and he spoke up and blasted DeBlasio about this latest incident. Why doesn’t Jared and Ivanka ever visit those frum communities?
