He was one of 3 boys from Monsey who travelled to Arizona on a road trip. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Moshe Aryeh Yust from Monsey, NY
According to initial reports, the boys had stopped at the side of the road to change a flat tire. While on the side of the road, a drunk driver struck one of the boys, killing him. The other 2 boys managed to jump away in time.
A fundraiser has been launched to assist the family with burial costs.

Please be more sensitive when posting such tragic news. The wording is unacceptable

Ugh. Despicable!
“The dead boy”
If only it were someone you knew
so far one yiddisha korban from no schools and no structure. Not one boy was nifter yet from Covid 19.
When will this madness end. Open the damn schools and stop killing our kids.
@Archy.
I am not sure you really are entitled to use the term educated.
Closing Schools was necessary to slow the spread, not necessarily to save young lives. Every transmission widens the chances of passing it to parents and other older people. Many adults in their 30’s and older were very sick and some did not recover, RL.
BDE should his poor soul rest in peace
archy this timeu are not wrigh the boy was not in a yeshiva he was working
I am with archy again…its in middle of the frkn zman…not time for roadtrips. Not that im blaming this boy…its very trying times and maybe he needed it…but the point is that the continuous closing of schools now is not necessary and is only gonna cause harm. All the best
And in many other countries, It did not increase . Stop being proof from one outlier. Reopen cautiously . Israel reopened we can too
Bob,
You’re a 3 dollar bill.

Donny, wow! You ‘drove’ through Williamsburg and you ‘got’ it! Amazing how you can assess a whole community on drive-thru. Im impressed.

Some yeshivas are open. What are you talking about. I know of yeshivas that are open already over a week. Why don’t you switch your kids to those open yeshivas. It’s happening right here in Brooklyn. I don’t know about monsey. But Brooklyn we are in full swing.
