“Who better than me can understand what you are going through in life,” the Rebbetzin wrote. “I was also in your situation for nearly 11 years.”

The rebbetzin wrote that she managed to get through this period with “Vitamin A,B,C,D and G.” A for Emunah (faith), B for Bitachon (trust), C for Simcha (joy), D for Davenen (Yiddish for prayer) and G for Geduld (Yiddish for patience).

“In this merit I received my salvation and if you will strengthen yourself with these vitamins and not despair you too will have salvation.”

The Rebbetzin concluded her letter stating that “especially in the year Taf Shin Peh, a mnemonic for Tihyeh Shat Poriyut (It should be a fertile year), you will merit children, especially on the festival of Shavuos when Hashem blesses the trees with fruit, you too will have sweet fruit and merit children and grandchildren involved in Torah and Mitzvos and we will make a thanksgiving meal at your bris or kiddush.”

Perhaps it was in the zechus of the reba finally apologizing for shaming holy jews like the hilega minchas yitzchok. A 20 year old reba had no place to shame such a holy tzadaik when he didn’t come near the mans toes. People forget how the reba was ostracized by all in the early 90’s
