NEW YORK (VINnews) – The top cop of the New York city Police Dept. said Wednesday that NYC protesters are leaving “caches of bricks and rocks” around the city to counter cops.

NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea tweeted “This is what our cops are up against: Organized looters, strategically placing caches of bricks & rocks at locations throughout NYC,” Shea tweeted around 10:30 a.m.
The commissioner reiterated the same sentiment at the press conference given this morning by NYC mayor Bill deBlasio.
