Watch: Thousands Attend Funeral Of Toldos Aharon Rebbe’s Brother In Jerusalem

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Thousands of people attended the funeral of Rabbi Aharon Kahan, the Divrei Emunah Rebbe from Monsey and brother of the Rebbes of Toldos Aharon and Toldos Avraham Yitzchak.

Before the funeral procession left Meah Shearim police contacted the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak chasidim in a attempt to maintain public health regulations during the course of the funeral. However the chasidim split up in different directions after the cortege left Meah Shearim and thousands tried to reach Har Hazeisim where the rebbe was buried.

In the end police set up roadblocks and tried to prevent people from congregating on the way to the funeral. There were a number of clashes between police and chasidim as police used horses to try and split up the crowds.
