Holocaust Survivor Leaves House for First Time During Pandemic, Thanks NYPD for their Service

NEW YORK (VINnews) — Mrs. Miriam Slavin a resident from Crown Heights left her home for the first time since the Covid Pandemic began. Her first stop was at 770 the Shull of the Rebbe.

Mrs. Slavin expressed her wishes to her son Eli who is the Communy Liaison for Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, to thank the Police Officers for their services.

When Eli approached a number of officers he told them that his mom is a Holocaust Survivor and is overwhelmed with gratitude for their service.

Mrs. Slavin told them of her suffering under the Communist and Nazis, and thanked them for their service and sacrifice.

Eli told VINnews that these tough men in blue, were so touched by his mother’s kind words.
