The Republican from Texas called the plan “asinine” on Twitter.
“How many national anthems do we have??” he wrote.
He then asked if there is a Hispanic national anthem or an Asian American national anthem.
“This is asinine. We are ONE America. E Pluribus Unum,” he tweeted.
According to ESPN, the NFL will play “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” which is also known as the Black national anthem, before every Week 1 NFL game.
It will be played before “The Star-Spangled Banner,” according to the report.
The NFL has not commented on the plan.
Is Joe Biden still alive?
To all my friends out there.
Enjoy your last 4th of July that celebrates freedom.
I believe that next year, the way things are going, WE WON’T BE CELEBRATING 4TH OF JULY.
HOW LOW HAS THIS COUNTY GONE!!!
HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE!!!
why isn’t this discrimination against non-blacks?
Will the players kneel during black national anthem to protest the 97% of blacks that got murdered from fellow blacks?
Normal people should not go to NFL games. It is fun to watch, but don’t support them.
What is with all this pandering to the Marxist kooks?!?? Get them the heck out of our country. Send them off to some country like Russia or something like that!
Is the NFL still taking requests?
