In an interview on Sinclair Broadcasting’s “America This Week,” Carson asserted “that means we’ve learned a lot about how to deal with this.”

“It also means that many of the people who are being impacted are our young people,” he added.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that for the week ending July 4, mortality attributed to COVID-19 decreased to 5.5% compared to 6.9% the prior week, “but will likely increase as additional death certificates are processed.”

Carson pointed out despite “these vastly increased numbers” of COVID-19 cases, “you never hear anybody talking about which ones are symptomatic and which ones are not…

“Fact of the matter is, a lot of them are asymptomatic,” he asserted.
