Outrage Over Antisemitic Cartoon Depicting Chareidi Bringing Coronavirus To Israel

10

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — A caricature published by Haaretz cartoonist Amos Biderman has caused an uproar on social media as it depicts Chareidim entering Israel with coronavirus in their suitcases. The caricature comes in the wake of the government decision to allow some 20,000 students and members of youth organizations to enter Israel for the coming academic year.

Despite the fact that many of the students are not Chareidi, Biderman chose to target the Chareidi students.

MK Betzalel Smotrich wrote that “even Der Sturmer couldn’t have made it more antisemitic.”

Another respondent wrote “it is interesting to know where the cartoonist’s pen disappeared when 15,000 people demonstrated against Bibi in close proximity and while flaunting the regulations. Ah, that was against Bibi.”

Rabbi Sholom Ber Sorotzkin, the head of the Ateres Shlomo institutions including thousands of yeshiva and kollel students wrote that: “352 antisemites added likes on this tweet. Your hatred for Chareidi Jews is much more dangerous than coronavirus. That disease will leave us one day but your hatred disease will remain forever.”

MK Yaakov Mergi (Shas) , the head of the Knesset’s economic affairs committee, wrote: “Amos Biderman, you should be ashamed of yourself. The newspaper which printed this should be eradicated.”

MK Eliyahu Baruchi (UTJ) wrote that “I am waiting to receive with joy and admiration our brothers from the diaspora, Torah students who have established their place of learning in the land of Israel.”

Why the outrage if it’s true? Remember what percentage of Chareidim are vaxxed for flu and measles? In EY AND USA? When was the last time a *** Non *** chareidi 8 day old boy died of HSV Encephalitis? Hmmm?

This was a disgusting, biased, and despicable, hate filled message, which as MK Stotrich so keenly noted “Der Sturmer couldn’t have produced a better anti-semitic caricature”. There is such hatred of Hareidim and Chassidim in EY, that this caricature will hardly draw a yawn there.

We keep our shuls open, flaunt any government rules, and the result is more covid problems in our community. Then we turn around and ask why is everyone picking on us?? Can’t understand it, something is wrong! You want to know why – we had a higher percentage per capita of people infected than almost all other places. Simple, others just want to protect themselves. Did it occur to anyone, maybe we should just re-think how we act.

Haaretz is the main Hebrew anti religious news paper, followed by Ynet. In English there is the notorious Times of Israel which does not allow a positive piece on the religious Jews and often a person is censored from commenting against the ToI bias.

HaShem should help us wipe out these disgusting news rags who push being a goyish culture with disgusting liberal values over being Jewish with Jewish Torah values.

The Yated in Bnei Brak published their own version of the same picture. You can check it out on the Bachadrei site. A frum Yid walking with a suicide belt made of COVID-19 cells without a mask on a public streets. The picture naturally started a whole inner Charedi battle. So what goes around ….

The Israelis should look at themselves. Who brought the measles to America a few years ago? And the COVID-19 is a much bigger problem by the goyim. If these boys are really learning, then they will not be running around to parties and doing those things that spread the virus.
