The news, reported by Globes.com, came after El Al formally put their shares up on the public market on Wednesday.

Notably missing in the bidding process were Meir Gurvitz and David Sapir, who had previously expressed interest in purchasing the airline, leaving Rozenberg the sole bidder.

Rozenberg purchased 43% of the company’s shares, making him the controlling shareholder. The shares were reportedly purchased for approximately $100 million.

Eli Rozenberg is the son of New York businessman Kenny Rozenberg, the founder and CEO of Centers Health Care.

Eli had previously formed the Aviation Eagles Wings company while working towards purchasing the airline. In doing so, he famously recruited former US envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt to serve as his adviser.

Is evreyone realy saying that anyone who owns nursing homes should not be allowed to have enough money to purchase an airline. And does anyone honestly think that the only way to make money off nursing homes is buy scamming the government.

Glad to see my tax dollars overpaying for skimpy nursing home care with enough profit to buy an airline.

Interesting we rarely hear people whining about the service or profits of a hotel
a restaurant , or a new car.

People are generally satisfied with the product or service without the government rating these businesses , or auditing their payroll and staff levels .

Somehow customers naturally gravitate to those businesses who provide the best bang for their buck , and the lousy companies go out of business.

Who knows maybe the socialist State of New York restrictions on opening new nursing home has something to do with it .

Who knows ?

kenny is actually a really ehriche person and owns a lot more than nursing homes. But first thing all you ppl should work on is your jealousy. If your eyes are poping out admit it, and dont come up with some blame on nursing home owners. If you would be able to do it yourself you would also… its aserses ymei tshuva and at least do not fool yourself
