ARAD (VINnews) — In this southern town in Israel there is a flourishing community of Gerer chasidim who have suffered in recent years from the hostile approach of secular residents. In recent weeks there has been an escalation in attacks on the community with a number of shops owned by chasidim torched and vandalized and young boys berating chasidim for “coming too near to them.” The chasidim feel that the incitement against the community has affected all sectors and that they were being unfairly targeted. A demonstration was organized but since the Gerer chasidim strictly maintain regulations in accordance with coronavirus regulations, they kept social distancing and also wore masks.

חסידי גור בערד מפגינים בעקבות הצתה וונדליזם נגד חנויות של חסידים בעיר. שימו לב להקפדה על מרחק. אם מפגינים אז ככה pic.twitter.com/gLyfeDQmqd

The demonstration led to positive responses even from secular people who were impressed by the discipline shown by the chasidim.
This is what we should be doing on BP. Protest against Governor Antichos? yes but like this and we should be davening. Not like Tischler.
Archy
It is very interesting that I met a sexular middle aged womsn last year who lives in Arad.
She complained to me that she no longer feels she can luve a private life.
She luves in a garden apartment.
She finds that when she is relaxing in her garden, she invariably finds a religeoys Jew peeking into her garden.
Please
Just respect people.
Do you want people peeping into your gardens?
Please be respectful of others.
You have to separate them from each other or they fight, argue, and abuse
They just pretend the other protesters are their wife.
