NEW YORK (VINnews) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced a deal that will allow schools in red and orange micro-cluster zones to reopen for in-person learning.

The new testing protocol will include mass testing before school reopens followed by weekly surveillance testing.
The state will provide free rapid-result test kits for schools wishing to participate.
This breaking announcement comes after schools in red and orange zones were closed by the government for the second time, approximately one month ago.
Since that closure, community leaders and politicians have tried unsuccessfully to broker an agreement with the state and local authorities to allow for a reopening.
More details will be released as they become available.
He knows Covid will spread over Halloween and Christmas, and the non Jewish areas will become red zones. But he doesn’t want to close their schools, so he’s very quickly opening Jewish schools so we can’t claim that he isn’t being fair and equal…

My guess is, he plans on shutting down other hoods but je knows with them he can’t close schools.
Either way this proves that all along this was one big fat hoax. It was intended as a punishment to boost his ego.

FYI Phineas, Just to be clear so you don’t say I am “insular” I do not think we need to flaunt the law and daven at a Bobov minyan factory in the weekday. I can’t think of any spirtual reason why that’s needed. So yes I am against that. (I do see a need on shabbos to be with the reba but lets work on the other 6 days)
