NEW YORK (VINnews) — Election Day is almost upon us, over half of all votes have been cast, but until the moment the polls close on Tuesday, November 3, it is important that we remain a source of information and guidance to our readers. The current presidential choices present vast distinctions both in policy and values. Previous American elections have not offered such a great divide in the direction and path our country will embark on after this election. We have selected President Donald Trump as the person who can most successfully lead our country at this most challenging crossroads in our history.

We agree that Donald Trump is a flawed human being, but aren’t we all? He is not eloquent,  his personality can be abrasive, and he may at times be “politically incorrect, however, he is not a politician and that is why he was elected. He does know how to mediate agreements which he has done for us many times. He has kept us out of wars and secured our country from foreign dangers.

Will our guiding principles be based on the successful economic and social principles of capitalism, which has been the source of America’s unbelievable success? Or do we choose socialism, a failed economic and social policy that has reduced world populations to poverty and despair?

We believe that President Donald Trump has fulfilled his 2016 campaign promises with vigor and diligence. He has proven that we can trust him. The recent economic data is incredible, 33% growth in the GDP is an astounding accomplishment considering where our economy was in March!

Do we choose a candidate, who is healthy, made a miraculous recovery from covid 19, has sharp mental focus and faculties and has amazing physical strength and endurance, has endlessly campaigned to get his message out or do we choose the candidate who unfortunately has declining mental cognitive abilities, exemplified by his many and often  frightening brain freezes?

(Carlos Gonzalez/Star Tribune via AP)Do we choose the candidate who believes in law and order, security at home and abroad and protecting our borders from illegal immigration and entry into our country? or the candidate who wants to defund the police and does not recognize Antifa’s violence and destruction and  claims “Antifa is just an idea”!

Do we choose the candidate who has brought economic growth, relief and social reforms to minority populations with jobs and criminal justice reform or do we choose the candidate  who professes that our country is “systemically racist” and must be continuously admonished for it and who proposes  higher taxes, business regulations and restrictions as a solution?

Do we choose a candidate who has entrepreneurial experience and can build our economy thru creative enterprise and has proven he can do just that or do we choose a candidate who has never built anything?

Do we choose the candidate who offers school choice and vouchers to families, so they can choose the educational institution of their preference?  Or do we choose the candidate who offers only the public school option which is not always the best educational opportunity for our children.

Do we choose a candidate who vigorously keeps his campaign promises and much more or the candidate who vacillates back and forth on his policies, flip flops, first he is against fracking and then he is not against it?

Do we choose the candidate who has made us energy independent, not dependent on foreign sources for oil and gas or do we choose the candidate who will transition from oil and gas and eventually entirely eliminate it.

Will Israel continue to be our esteemed ally and friend because of the common values and beliefs that we  share under a Biden administration ?  Or will Israel’s existence be rebuked and threatened as it was during the Obama years?

What has President Trump accomplished in the past four years? Under his first three years of leadership:

    • With passage of the Republican tax bill, taxpayers realized massive tax cuts, resulting in a historic economic expansion with the creation of 7 million jobs, the poverty rate at a 17-year low, and unemployment numbers for African-Americans and Hispanic-Americans at their lowest levels since the U.S. began collecting such data.
    • 400,000 manufacturing jobs were created or brought back from overseas.
    • The Pledge to America’s Workers resulted in employers committing to train more than 4 million Americans.
    • Unwieldy, bureaucratic job-killing regulations were eliminated to allow businesses to focus on what they do best, not on needless paperwork and reporting. A record number of these changes helped small businesses.
    • The stock market reached record highs and median household income hit the highest level ever recorded. Consumer confidence rose to an all-time high.
    • President Trump called on Congress to pass school choice legislation to ensure that all families can provide their children with quality education and signed legislation that increased funding for school choice.
    • We saw defeat of the ISIS caliphate and elimination of ISIS leader Abu Baker al-Baghdadi.
    • The U.S. surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest producer of crude oil.
    • The burdensome, expensive Obamacare mandate was eliminated. Prescription prices dropped following removal of gag orders that kept pharmacists from sharing actual cost information. Healthcare providers were ordered to disclose the real costs of their services, including discounted pricing.
    • 375,000 acres were designated as protected land under the biggest U.S. wilderness protection and conservation bill in a decade.
    • ICE arrested more than 5,000 human traffickers and strong initiatives against internet sex trafficking were implemented.

It goes without saying that President Trump is committed to peace in the Middle East while prioritizing Israel’s existence as the indisputable homeland of the Jewish people.

    • Trump calls Israel a “cherished ally.  In 2017, he recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the U.S. Embassy there. In 2019, he recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
    • He has focused on confronting Iran, which he calls “the leading state sponsor of terrorism.” In 2018, he withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal and reimposed sweeping economic sanctions on the country.
    • In January 2020, he released a new Middle East peace plan in collaboration with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The proposal would award Jerusalem and large portions of the West Bank to Israel.
    • And during the past few months, President Trump has literally turned Middle East history on its head by brokering peace agreements between Israel and several of its former enemies.

In contrast to these commitments and accomplishments, the Democratic candidate has a history of flip-flopping on issues, lying about his personal history and general incompetence. Robert Gates, secretary of defense under George W. Bush and Barack Obama, wrote in his 2014 memoir that Biden “has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”

For Jews, Americans and Jewish-Americans, the choice couldn’t be more clear. We can look forward to four more years of strength, progress and realization of our nation’s greatness … or to relinquishing the gains we have enjoyed under the leadership of President Trump.

I just hope that VIN together with all dear Yidden who made this racist as a sort of idol worship, will have huge disappointment and find the roots back back to Yiddish normality.

It is upsetting that VIN is stepping into this area. After years of reposting articles from trustworthy sources like AP, UPI, etc., one would think VIN see the truth. But alas, it seems VIN is blinded like many others in the klal.

Iy”h we will have Biden as president and Trump will quickly be forgotten.

For all the accomplishments listed you forgot that under Trump white supremacy has grown dangerously and the FBI has called it the greatest threat the US is facing.

Jobs and the economy will matter little to us if white supremacy continues to grow, which under Trump there is little reason to think otherwise.

What have we become that we support such a horrible man. Is this the midot we want to teach our children? To name call? To be horrible to our wives and daughters? To lie lie lie all the time? to be responsible for the deaths of 230,000 Americans including many of our grandparents and husbands and wives and even children for his own vanity? Such a sad state for klal yisroel.
