JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Thousands of people attended the funeral of Rabbi Dovid Feinstein in Jerusalem Monday, but the funeral was marred by clashes with police due to the large crowds which gathered and the lack of social distancing. Police tried to stop the crowds from leaving the Romema area where the eulogies took place and also tried to make barriers near the cemetery to prevent the crowd from entering at the same time. Clashes with police broke out and two people were arrested.

Police spokesmen said that “in the wake of the funeral taking place in Jerusalem, local police are acting to prevent hundreds of participants from reaching the cemetery and are asking that they disperse, maintain regulations and wear masks.
“The forces were met by people who clashed with them and caused damage to a police car. Police arrested two suspects.”

גיבורים על חרדים!
נראה אותם מתנהגים ככה בהר הבית בימי שישי. https://t.co/T0r1x8qhSc— רפי רודניק (@Rafi_Rodnik12) November 9, 2020
What hypocrits these police are. Hundreds and sometimes thousands of secular leftists are protesting in front of Netanyahu’s home almost every day and you don’t hear a word from the Israeli police.
