The nation’s top infectious disease expert told CNN on Tuesday that “we need to intensify public health strategies,” which include wearing masks, washing hands and avoiding places where people gather.

The U.S hit a record daily high of more than 184,000 coronavirus cases on Friday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

On Monday, Moderna announced early data suggests its vaccine candidate provides strong protection against the coronavirus. That news comes a week after Pfizer revealed its vaccine was similarly effective.

Vaccines candidates must go through independent data and safety monitoring before approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Fauci says in the meantime, it’s important for people “to be motivated to hang in there a bit longer and double down on the public health measures. I just can’t understand why there’s pushback against that. They’re not that difficult to do. And they save lives.”

The U.S. leads the world with 11.2 million coronavirus cases and more than 247,000 deaths.

There is zero science to support mask-wearing! stop this nonsense!
Making it as if it’s established it does anything to protect. It does nada.
Look up the Danish mask study.
WAKE up guys!

If masks were proven to save lives then your accusations on your jewish brethren could be substantiated (yet still unproductive and improper comduct for a loving brother!) And as a side point, when a department like the CDC flip flops claiming to know what’s best yet constantly contradicting itself, they lose credibility.
As an asode, yet quite major, be careful with name-calling and other aveiros you have no issue committing to put down the “maskless murderers” . Personally, our Rav who took this whole thing very seriously being one of our large community’s last shuls to reopen is still careful in the “normal” range and does not wear a mask or demand it for mispalilim..it is requested in the narrow hallways until one reaches his seat… And guess what? He doesn’t put down others and their opinions! If it were pikuach nefesh from a medical standpoint he would demand it! Why did it become okay to take one’s own opinion (that by the way has not been consulted with daas torah in most cases!) And use it as an opportunity to put down others just to prove that your opinion is the know-it-all ‘fact’?! Don’t we want Hashem to end this nisayon? I can’t imagine that all He is waiting for is for you to call your brothers murderers!?!!! It really pains me!
May the Kol Yachol remove all mageifos and machalos from within our midst and bring moshiach speedily in our times.
