I don’t want to blame the victim. And I don’t know all the details But generally if someone asks you to move your truck. Move it ASAP. I take this story personally I live near a large supermarket and a busy houseware store. Almost every day I’m blocked in. Most drivers are nice but every once in a while I have someone giving me a hard time and he’s blocking me and is double parked. No I don’t have a minute when I have to get to work or my shiur

They are both wrong.
Whether you live there, are shopping, or are a delivery driver, it does not give you any added benefits to block someone in. If there really is no other choice, and you have to block them, (Which may be the case in Brooklyn but I doubt is the case in Monsey) then you move your vehicle as soon as they ask you.
This is still no excuse for hitting someone.
